A valid photo identification matching a printed or the digital email copy of the reservation is required as the reservation is non-transferable. Once the reservation is made (regardless of payment) a reply email will be sent to the bay visitor’s provided email which serves as your reservation confirmation.Parking fees are collected on-site using cash payments. A 2.35% service fee is assesed for online payments. All sales are final with no cancellations or exchanges. Entry payments are non-refundable, unless the nature preserve is closed due to unforeseen circumstances by the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation. An online system to reserve an entry time into HBAY and make an online entry payment is now available for public use (Parks & Recreation Online System or PROS).

All HBAY visitors must leave the nature preserve by 4 p.m., with the beach being cleared at 3:30 p.m. The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve (HBAY) is open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, with entry allowed from 6:45 a.m.
